jammed to the music of the three kings! The blues
storm that was created that night has been captured
here on DVD and CD for the ages.

| One of the strongest continuing influences
on American popular music has been the Italians. Originally
it was the crooners and then it was the rock-n-rollers.
The Italians "The Next Generation"
gathers fifteen hits, all
recorded by Italian-Americans, that helped shape the
musical soundtrack of the '50s through the
1970s.
In addition to smash singles by singers including
The Four Seasons, The Rascals, Annette Funicello,
Bobby Darin, Dion DiMucci and Jim Croce,
the album also includes a 24 page booklet
telling the story of the Italians, from their original
immigration to their prominent place in popular music.
As a special bonus, the package
includes a DVD, featuring a short
film "Growing Up Italian," by
award-winning documentarian Marino Amoruso. A fantastic
one of a kind collection of music and video that will
appeal to every generation. Everyone loves rock-n-roll
and traditions, so this is the collection. |
